Uses: Cassia Oil is used as food flavor comppent in soft drinks, candy, canned food, bakery, etc.
It is used to isolate Cinnamaldehyde and for making Cinnamic Alcohol.
Therapeutic uses: Fragrancing, indigestion, gas, colic, diarrhea, rheumatism, cold/flu.The therapeutic properties of Cassia oil are carminative, anti-diarrhea, anti-microbial and anti-emetic.
Cautions: Cassia oil is very irritating to the skin and should be handled with care. Photosensitive (avoid sun-exposure). Avoid during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Not to be used on babies or small children. Neutralizes homeopathic remedies.
